NEW TACO MARINE PRODUCTS ON DISPLAY AT IBEX 2019

Taco Marine Products

Oct 1, 2019

TACO Marine® will feature four new products for boat builders, boatyards and boat repairers at IBEX 2019, October 1-3 at the Tampa Convention Center. Two of the products have been nominated for Product Innovation Awards at the show.

GS 850 & 950
The Grand Slam 850 Electric VHF Antenna Mount easily installs to the surface of a hardtop and will fit all top thicknesses. No under-mount clearance is required. A standard 1-1/4” thread (male) shaft will accept all standard VHF antennas.

The new GS-950 Electric Anchor & Stern Light is one of the nominated products. It is ideal for powered vessels 39’ (12 meters) and under and is certified for the USCG-required 2 nautical miles. This mount also easily installs to the surface of a hardtop and fits all top thicknesses. The light runs on 12 volts and consists of four 3-watt LED Cree chips driven by two Mean Well drivers. Click here to watch video with Captain Mark Henderson as he explains how the GS 950 works.

SuproFlex Rub Rail
Also nominated for a Product Innovation Award at IBEX is the new SuproFlex Rub Rail, which has higher impact resistance, requires minimal heating, is super flexible, easier to install, requires less manpower and reduces materials cost. Designed for boats up to 65’, SuproFlex is co-extruded vinyl that provides two levels of hardness to ensure enhanced protection from impact. It requires no pre-forming and easily molds to most hull shapes. This new rub rail is available in a variety of sizes and colors, and pairs with TACO’s patented Flex Chrome Insert, which can also be customized to any color preference. Click here to watch a video with Captain Mark Henderson as he introduces SuproFlex. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9PLeUfkubdM&feature=youtu.be

GS-1000
The new TACO Marine® GS-1000 Electro-Hydraulic Outrigger Mount will also be featured in booth 3-1431. A breakthrough in sport fishing technology, the GS-1000 can safely lift and rotate poles from the comfort of the helm with the simple push of a button. Designed to be surface mounted on the hardtop with all hydraulic lines and wiring concealed inside the top, the microprocessor-controlled system adjusts the angle of lift from 0 to 75 degrees with incremental stops at 30, 45 and 60 degrees. A 1,000-PSI hydraulic pump drives both the lift and rotation.

The GS-1000 mates with the TACO Marine 20’ and 24’ Pro Series Carbon Fiber Twist & Lock Tele-Outriggers, which contain a patent-pending Twist & Lock install feature. Additionally, the control panel can be customized to match boat builder’s console look and feel.
