XANTREX DONATES POWERFUL INVERTER/CHARGER SYSTEM TO SPLASH FLOATING CLASSROOM

Xantrex Inverter

Xantrex recently donated a powerful inverter/charger system, Freedom SW 3024 to empower SPLASH’s (Student Participation in Learning Aquatic Science & History) educational program on a steamboat operating on the Delaware River.

SPLASH is a non-profit organization that provides two-hour educational tours for students of all ages for more than 10 years in Lambertville, NY area. During the tour, participants are engaged in discussion, role-playing, and experiment to learn about clean-water ecology, steamboat technology, and the history of the steamboat era. With the addition of Freedom SW 3024 and System Control Panel (SCP), SPLASH will be able to achieve a new level of outreach to its community by providing more educational programs and improving participant engagement.

Designed with efficiency and adaptability, Freedom SW 3024 combines an inverter, a battery charger and a transfer switch to provide power management for commercial and recreational applications such as boats, buses, and RVs. Complemented by the SCP’s backlit LCD onscreen menu system, the duo are the perfect products to power SPLASH’s educational programs for extended periods of time without the use of fossil fuel burning generators while out on the water.

Xantrex is excited to share the success of the Freedom SW 3024 and SCP system with SPLASH hoping to raise awareness of the near-by ecosystem and educate future generations about environmental health and ecosystem sustainability. A donation like this is consistent with Xantrex’s commitment to protect our environment by using innovative products; it exemplifies how combining advanced technology and human effort is a powerful way to preserve and sustain natural habitats.
