PEDESTAL SUSPENSION SYSTEM WINS 2016 TOP PRODUCT AWARD

May 8, 2016

The innovative Taco® Marine Low Profile Seaspension® Shock-Mitigating Pedestal System has received a 2016 Top Product Award from the editors of Boating Industry magazine.

Seaspension’s unique and patented design absorbs shock and vibration to prevent pounding on the back and legs. Because typical pedestals are rigid, they transfer wave jolts directly to the seats and person sitting in seat.

Seaspension is an engineered design to provide effective shock dampening with multiple components – not a “Pogo-Stick” spring type of action. The low profile model is designed for raised mounting platform helms found in many of the boats in the marketplace as well as good retrofit for boats with fixed pedestals mounted on platform helms. Boot and non-boot versions are available in custom color powder coat and polished aluminum finishes (shown above).
