RAISING THE BAR ON AREA LIGHTING

Sea Hawk 470 Bar LED

Sept 19, 2017

Boaters have long been challenged with lighting large areas like cockpits and foredecks, often resorting to multiple overlapping fixtures to achieve the desired coverage. The new Sea Hawk-470 Bar LED Work Lamp from Hella marine evenly illuminates such spaces with its powerful and efficient design.

Using a unique diffuse flood lens, the Sea Hawk-470 produces an extremely wide, even spread beam with a high light output of 3,600 lumen. Its design eliminates harsh borders and annoying hotspots that can lead to eye strain. Friction end caps allow this versatile work lamp to be positioned securely at any angle, ideal for illuminating decks, walkways and docks. It measures 21.86″ W x 2.1″ H and mounts with SS brackets.

The Sea Hawk-470 uses a UV, chemical and impact-resistant HD Grilamid lens contained in a thermally conductive, non-metal housing. It’s completely sealed to IP 67 standard for exceptional corrosion resistance.

Multivolt circuitry enables operation between 9V and 33V from a 12V or 24V supply. It draws 36W, and in low intensity mode only 4W for conserving power during long-term use.

Protected by a 5-year warranty, the Sea Hawk-470 is available with black or white housings, with retail prices starting at $425. Optional double SS mounting brackets enable stacked twin bar installations.
