Polisher makes restoring showroom shine easy

Shurhold Polishing Kit

June 25, 2024

With the award-winning World’s Best Dual Action Polisher from Shurhold, it’s quick and easy to restore a boat’s showroom shine. Designed for DIYers, the powerful tool quickly removes dirt and oxidation from paint and gelcoat without the accidental burns and swirls that can happen with professional rotary machines. It’s also the perfect solution for waxing and buffing large areas, without the aches and pains at the end of the day.

The Dual Action Polisher has a 5″ head with an 8mm orbit. With a variable speed from 2,500-6,500 opm, users can achieve a high-gloss, professional finish with minimal effort.

Unlike heavy and/or bulky polishers or palm-drip polishers that are hard to hold after a while, the Shurhold World’s Best Dual Action Polisher is balanced and ergonomic. Its soft-touch D-handle adjusts to the work surface, while the straight grip is just the right size for all-day comfort. An included quick-attach side handle adds flexibility.

The quick-change Velcro backing plate makes switching the Dual Action Polisher pads fast and easy. Shurhold offers a full range of interchangeable accessories for scrubbing, compounding, polishing and waxing.

The Shurhold World’s Best Dual Action Polisher comes with a pad wrench, two spare carbon motor brushes and an allen wrench, plus a deluxe canvas storage bag. The 120V AC, 500-watt polisher features a full 20′ cord with included GFCI adapter for use around water.

Even in the event of an onboard power failure, a Ritchie Navigation SuperSport Helmsman SS-1002 magnetic compass still works. Plus, when the vessel is moving slowly in fog or while trolling, it can do something a GPS can’t: show the actual heading in real time. As a back-up to modern electronics, it’s a vital navigational tool that belongs on every commercial and recreational boat.
