STEREO RECEIVER DELIVERS ULTIMATE OFFSHORE SOUND

Stereo Receiver

Sept 29, 2020

Some stereo manufacturers repackage automotive devices and call them marinized. Not so with Infinity by Harman, the gold-standard for mobile sound. Available from Prospec Electronics, its INFPRV315.2 marine stereo receiver boasts a mechless, all-in-one design that conquers serious environmental extremes and delivers the ultimate in marinized sound.

The first thing noticeable about the INFPRV315.2 is its 3.5″ color TFT screen, rotary encoder knob and soft-touch button array. Combined with an intuitive interface, controlling the UV-stable device is easy, even when blasting through chop.

With the INFPRV315.2, everyone can play their favorite music. Aside from AM/FM and weather band tuning, it features Bluetooth audio with ID tagging to stream from a smart device. A USB port acts as an input source or will charge a phone. For MP3 players, it has a built-in 3.5mm aux plug input. A rear video input allows the screen to display a livewell or backup camera feed.

A 4 x 50W peak at 4 ohms rating delivers massive sound, but with the clarity and finesse Infinity by Harman is known for. A 2-ohm stable internal amplifier allows for additional speaker expandability without having to add an amplifier.

The Infinity by Harman INFPRV315.2 from Prospec Electronics uses a standard 3.5″ round cutout, making installation simple and straightforward. Three sets of RCA preamp pre-outs, including a separate subwoofer output, make adding an amplifier or subwoofer an easy process. Wired remote ready, the stereo receiver offers optional control from the bow or swim platform. In the U.S. it costs $359.95 USD.
