Trumpet horns produce volume while adding style

Trumpet Horns

June 22, 2021

Whistles may satisfy regulatory requirements and function as sound-producing devices, but they pale in comparison to a true horn. Not only do Deluxe All Stainless-Steel Trumpet Horns from Schmitt & Ongaro Marine Products produce a serious, attention-grabbing tone, but they also add a luxurious nautical appearance to any boat style.

Deluxe All Stainless -Steel Trumpet Horns are available in single and dual versions. Engineered for continual exposure to the elements, the 304 stainless steel components inside and out are backed by a five-year no-rust warranty.

The sounding units feature a patented drainage system that allows water to escape to ensure operational reliability even in rough seas. This also allows the horns to be mounted in an upward orientation. Plus, internal components are fully sealed in resin and protected from water ingress by rubber gaskets. Offered in 12V or 24V, the horns are pre-wired for fast and easy installation. The Single horn measures 16.5″ L x 4″ W x 4.75″ H and produces 120dB at 1m. The Dual version is 18.5″ L x 8″ W x 5″ H and delivers 125dB at 1m. Both meet ABYC A-23 standards. Schmitt & Ongaro Marine’s Deluxe All Stainless-Steel Single Horn has an American MSRP of $134.80 USD for 12V and $145.80 USD for 24V; the Dual Trumpet Horn, $263.10 USD for 12V and $276.70 USD for 24V.
