WHITE SMARTPLUG INLET MAINTAINS A BOAT’S CLEAN LOOK

White Plugs

Feb 17, 2017

Many people prefer their boat’s exterior to be sleek and uncluttered, especially around the cockpit. With SmartPlug Systems’ White Non-Metallic 30A/125V Inlet, owners maintain that clean look while protecting their investment from possible fire with the revolutionary SmartPlug.

The SmartPlug is a modern replacement to the traditional twist-type shore connector. It provides 20 times the metal-to-metal contact to reduce arcing, resistance and the overheating that can lead to fire. Because it doesn’t twist in, it’s easier to use, especially in the dark. The asymmetrical plug slides in straight and is secured with locking levers—no more trying to thread a locking collar.

Easily installed, the SmartPlug has the same cutout and 4-hole mounting pattern as a traditional inlet. The sealed, locking cap and flange are built of flame- and UV-resistant thermoplastic for use in harsh marine environments. It’s compatible with all SmartPlug 30A connectors.
