Whether in coastal waters or on an ocean crossing, vessels are required to maintain a proper lookout. In rainy conditions, Heavy Duty Wipers and Arms from Schmitt Marine keep windshields clear and smear-free for maximum visibility. NMMA-certified and CE-marked, they’re ideal for commercial and recreational use.

Schmitt Marine offers two models of wiper motors: The standard black Heavy Duty Wiper Motor that delivers 8-1/2 ft. lb. of torque and the white IP66 Heavy Duty Waterproof Wiper Motor that provides 11 ft. lb. The motors are available in 12V or 24V and are EMC protected, meaning that they won’t affect the operation of onboard magnetic and electronic navigation equipment and communication devices.

The two-speed motors feature stainless steel 1-1/2″, 2-1/2″ or 3-1/2″ shafts with chrome-plated brass shaft housings for reliability. The rugged powder-coated aluminum enclosures provide a long, reliable service life. Wiper sweep is adjustable between 40–100 degrees with a left or right park. The motors will power up to a 24″ arm and blade combination. This makes them ideal for refit and OEM use.

Schmitt Marine Wiper Arms are available in a wide range of styles to match virtually any marine windshield. They’re offered with flat, standard and adjustable J-hook tip styles in one-piece and pantograph versions. Black powder-coated stainless-steel arms with heavy-duty stainless-steel springs ensure lasting durability. With 5/8″ shafts, they’re available in sizes 12″–18″ and 19″–24″.
