Dennis Flint, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Taylor Made Group, is pleased to announce that Jason Pajonk-Taylor has been named President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the company.
Pajonk-Taylor began his career at Taylor Made in 1993, working in Templemore, Ireland, as plant manager for that facility’s marine windshield business unit. In 1996, he returned to the United States to join Taylor Made Products, the company’s aftermarket accessories division based in Gloversville, N.Y. He has served as President of Taylor Made Products since 2004, rising from his prior positions as Vice-President of Sales and Marketing and Product Manager.

Pajonk-Taylor served as Chairman of the National Marine Manufacturers Association Board of Directors from 2010–2012 and as Chairman of the Accessory Manufacturing Division Board of Directors from 2006–2008. He continues to remain active in the association.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Management from Bentley University. He currently lives in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., where, along with his three children, he is an avid boater and fisherman.

In announcing the appointment, Taylor Made Group also reports that President and Chief Executive Officer Andrew Hider has tendered his resignation, effective immediately.

Flint said, “Jason has long been a key member of our management team. His strong business acumen will be a tremendous asset in his new role as President and COO, and we are thrilled to promote him to this important position. We wish Andrew all the best as he leaves Taylor Made to pursue other goals.”

Additionally, The Taylor Made Group announces the appointment of David Karpinski as President of Taylor Made Products, filling the position left vacant by Pajonk-Taylor.

Karpinski joined Taylor Made Products in 1993 as Mid-Atlantic Regional Sales Manager. From 1994–1997, he served as National Sales Manager of the hardware division. He has served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Taylor Made Products since 1998.

Flint said, “David’s experience directing worldwide independent rep organizations, creating branding and advertising programs, and managing new product and category introductions, will serve him well as President of Taylor Made Products.”

Karpinski is a graduate of Syracuse University at Utica College, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing. He currently serves on the National Marine Distributor’s Association Board of Directors. He lives in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., with his wife and two children, where they enjoy boating and other water recreation.
