North South Nautical Groups Adds Another Certified CPYB Broker

Mike Burns, President of North South Nautical Group is pleased to announce that Greg Stratychuk has been designated a Certified Professional Yacht Broker by the National Yacht Broker Certification program.

Greg has been a power boater for over 25 years and an active member of the Canadian Power Squadron. He is a recognized provider of the Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC) and publishes a regular newsletter to over 350 local boaters.

After graduating from the University of Western Ontario, and a long and successful career in the automotive industry Greg retired to pursue his real passion – boating. He operates North South Yacht Sales' branch office at the St. Catharines Marina, and services the Niagara area and beyond.

This is the fifth yacht broker at North South Nautical Group to complete the National Yacht Broker Certification Program.  Established in 1999, the program was created to set a performance baseline for professional yacht brokers nationwide. Candidates for the CPYB program must have a minimum of 3 years work experience in yacht brokerage prior to writing the exam. Certification is valid for 3 years. Recertification is achieved through approved educational credits.

North South Nautical Group was the first yacht brokerage firm in Canada to be recognized by the CPYB as an Endorsed Brokerage.

North South Nautical Group specializes in the sale of pre-owned power and sailing yachts. With its head office based in Port Credit Harbour Marina, North South Nautical Group is one of the largest yacht brokerages in Ontario with several locations throughout the province. In addition, the NSNG team has strategic alliances with brokerage firms in the United States and the Caribbean.
