Ready Set Inflate –May 21 2011

On May 21st, stage a great, fun event for your customers that they’ll be talking about for the rest of the summer. Take part in the second annual Ready Set Inflate initiative to beat last year’s record of 1,514 inflations across North America.

Last year, Collins Bay Marina in Kingston, ON was just one of the Canadian dealers who hosted an event which contributed to the record while raising awareness of the importance of wearing a PFD.

The May 21st Ready Set Inflate initiative is the kick-off to Safe Boating Awareness Week which runs from May 21st-27th reminding boaters to:

1.     Wear a PFD

2.     Don’t Drink & Boat

3.     Be Prepared (Both you and your vessel)

4.     Take A Course

5.     Be Aware of the Dangers of Cold Water Immersion

Safe Boating Awareness Week and its kick-off event Ready Set Inflate provide excellent opportunities to bring customers through your doors early in the season while helping to promote their safe season on the water.   To learn more and register a Ready Set Inflate event, visit www.smartboater.ca the Canadian Safe Boating Council’s educational site.  Also, feel free to email ian@smartboater.ca.
