The Binnacle welcomes MMOS Marine Supply customers

The Binnacle announced that it has purchased the assets of MMOS Marine Supply.

Robert Dempsey and Chris Shaw of The Binnacle have worked with John and Barb Moore of MMOS to develop a plan that allows John and Barb to retire, relax and enjoy many future years on the golf course, following a very successful career in the business. Both companies have competed against each other with respect, professionalism and courtesy over the years, and The Binnacle couldn't have had a better competitor.

Dempsey and Shaw said, "We wish John and Barb continued success and enjoyment. We welcome MMOS customers following John and Barb's retirement announcement, and The Binnacle looks forward to assisting all our current and new MMOS customer's needs in the future."

The Binnacle will purchase the remaining MMOS inventory following the sale and we encourage local customers who have an opportunity to take advantage of the MMOS ""Going Out of Business Sale"" to take this chance for deep discount savings.

In a separate letter From John Moore of MMOS to their customers he said, "It is with mixed emotions that we write this letter. MMOS opened its doors to the Halifax public in 1977. Time has now come for us to be put out to pasture. To that end we have sold our business to our friends at The Binnacle because we felt they could provide you with the courteous and professional service you were accustomed to at MMOS. We will certainly be buying our boating needs there."

Moore said that to facilitate the change MMOS is going to have a closing out sale starting on October 15th. We have closed the store to prepare for the sale. Everything in the store will be drastically reduced in price.  He also wanted to thank their customers for their past business and wish you well in the future.
