The Central Ontario Boat Show & Sale Opens on Family Day Weekend
The annual Central Ontario Boat Show and Sale (COBSS) is the perfect family outing that will be sure to amaze every member this family day weekend. During the chilly winter months in South Western Ontario, families yearn for the moment when they will be able to enjoy time together on the water. COBSS shows families how to live the dream – showcasing boats, boating accessories and services, seminars and so much more. The show opens its doors on Friday, February 17th and goes straight through Holiday Monday, February 20th 2012.
“The show is just packed this year and we hope to hit as many as 300 different boats,” stated Dwayne McKillop, President of Continuum Productions. Returning to the 2012 show are the top 50 dealers stretching all across Ontario. Dealers are coming from as far West as Chatham, as far East as Peterborough, as far North as Bracebridge and South to Fort Erie.
Boating is so much more than just boats; it is a lifestyle. Boaters and those who wish to adopt the carefree lifestyle can find everything they need from lifejackets to shatter proof dishes to rafts from a number of booths located within The Mariner’s Marketplace. As important as it is to have all boating necessities, it is also extremely important to be safe and understand proper boat handling techniques. “That’s why we have introduced the COBSS Seminar Stage this year,” said McKillop.
COBSS is taking place at the The Careport Centre, conveniently located just off Hwy 403 and featuring six acres of free visitor parking. For more information on The Central Ontario Boat Show visit: www.boatshowandsale.com.
