IMTRA ACQUIRES NEW TALENT IN RESPONSE TO SIGNIFICANT GROWTH

IMTRA New Staff 1

IMTRA recently announced several new additions to its engineering, sales and marketing support teams – Dwight Escalera, Nate Cabral, Scott Glanvill and Jordan Watters.

Providing technical support for IMTRA’s products both in-house and in the field, Dwight Escalera has taken on the new role of Systems Engineer. A mechanical engineer with 25 years of experience in the marine industry, Escalera specializes in systems and composite structures, with expertise in computer controls and hydraulics. Escalera is an accredited marine surveyor, committee member of the Project Technical Committee for the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC), instructor for ABYC certification classes, and is the first person to earn ABYC certifications in all 8 disciplines offered. He enjoys sailing, actively participates in frost-biting (sailing in cold weather), and recently qualified for the Laser Masters World Championships to be held this summer in Ontario. Escalera resides in Rhode Island and has been a volunteer fire fighter since 1985.

Supporting IMTRA’s burgeoning commercial business, Nate Cabral has been promoted to the position of Commercial Sales Specialist. Cabral has been an IMTRA employee for the last 11 years and held a variety of positions in customer service, shipping and systems support. He also leads the development team for IMTRA’s B2B online platform. In his new role, Cabral will be a liaison between the outside sales team, corporate headquarters and IMTRA’s commercial customers. A life-long resident of New Bedford, Massachusetts, Cabral enjoys boating, travel and being outdoors.

As the newest member of IMTRA’s Customer Service team, Scott Glanvill interacts with customers directly, answering product questions, processing orders, providing technical support and resolving logistics issues. With over 25 years of experience in customer service within the marine industry, specializing in marine electronics and navigation, Glanvill spent much of his career at boat yards giving him an intimate familiarity with the needs of a large portion of IMTRA’s customer base. Glanvill has lived in New England his entire life and currently resides on Cape Cod where he enjoys fishing and playing guitar.

Enhancing IMTRA’s in-house marketing and design capabilities, Jordan Watters assumed the role of Marketing Support Specialist. Assisting customers with marketing requests for digital content and collateral material, Watters is a recent college graduate with a background in graphic design, and digital and social marketing. A life-long resident of Cape Cod, Watters enjoys spending time at the beach and travelling.
