BOAT BUILDER AWARDS WILL REWARD INSPIRING MARKETING INITIATIVES

Boatbuilder Awards

Retail Marketing Award – Call for nominations

The first of six award categories at this year’s inaugural Boat Builder Awards for Business Achievement, in association with Raymarine and organised jointly by IBI and METSTRADE, the Retail

Marketing Award spotlights those innovative strategies deployed to boost brand presence and sales.

To be in the running for the IBI-METS Retail Marketing Award, sponsored by Saltwater Communications, individuals or teams need to have pushed the boundaries in the way they have promoted their brand or latest product launch, or show direct results from an inspired marketing initiative.

The panel of judges are on the lookout for anything from imaginative ideas for the promotion of new boat sales in print or online, to outstanding boat show exhibits, successful partnerships or local promotions at dealer level where the boat builder has had a significant input.

To enter or nominate for the Retail

Marketing Award, interested parties should submit an outstanding example of a creative retail marketing initiative by a boat builder introduced in 2014-2015 via the Awards’ website, www.boatbuilderawards.com.

It is free to enter and to nominate for any of the six award categories. Winners will be announced at a glittering gala dinner to take place on November 18 at the National Maritime Museum in Amsterdam.

For more information about any of the award categories, how to submit entries and nominations, and to apply for tickets to the gala dinner, visit www.boatbuilderawards.com.

Headline sponsor for the event is Raymarine. Category sponsors include: Saltwater, Lumishore, Ultraflex, Fusion, Whale, and Side-Power.
