BENETEAU ADDS NORTH EAST REPRESENTATION WITH ADVANTAGE YACHT SALES

Beneteau and Advantage

Beneteau America has announced the appointment of Advantage Yacht Sales of Newburyport, Massachusetts as exclusive Beneteau sailboat dealer in Northern New England, including Maine, New Hampshire, and areas in Massachusetts stretching from Boston to the North.

“We feel honoured to have Advantage Yacht Sales on our side,” said Beneteau America President Laurent Fabre. “Not only has Advantage grown into one of the most reputable marine dealers in the region, but they are also a SailTime franchisee – like several of our existing Beneteau dealers – and offer an in-house sailing school program to supplement the boat ownership experience. We all recognize that offering more opportunities for new people to discover sailing as a hobby and a lifestyle is critical to the prosperity of our industry”, Fabre commented. “Beneteau America’s partnership with Advantage Yacht Sales is truly an ideal fit”.

Co-founded in 2007 by Jack Wasson and Doug Giuliana, Advantage Yacht Sales has been recognized by Boating Industry as one of the Top 100 Dealers in North America every year since 2011. Advantage is also a Marine Industry “Five Star” Certified Dealer, having proven their commitment to excellence in customer service. They follow specific processes to consistently provide a high level of service to every customer, constantly improve their operations, and train their staff, while adhering to the MRAA/NMMA “Customer Bill of Rights”. Advantage counts two sales locations in Newburyport and downtown Boston, and a boat yard located in Salisbury, MA.

Jack Wasson commented, “We have found in Beneteau’s product lines the perfect complement to our current portfolio of new boats. The Oceanis, Sense and First brands differentiate themselves in many unique ways from more traditional sailboats, thus equating to a great cruiser choice for any sailor. We are excited about the opportunity to work with Beneteau America and show the Boston marketplace why Beneteau is the preferred sailboat brand in the world today.”

Advantage Yacht Sales will represent Beneteau Sailboats alongside local Beneteau dealers Cape Yachts, Prestige Yacht Sales, Great Hudson Sailing Center, and Willis Marine at the Newport International Boat Show September 17-20 where Beneteau is exhibiting 8 sailboats and 7 powerboats, ranging from 31 to 60 feet.

The association is very well supported and virtually any significant marine electronics company that you could name, was represented there on the Exhibitor list at the Expo as well as all being NMEA members and very supportive of the organization.
