Chris-Craft is pleased to announce Gavan Hunt has joined the Chris-Craft team as Vice President of Sales.

Gavan is a marine industry veteran with a lifetime of experience. As a child, his father was a marina manager, and Gavan always worked around boating. Gavan’s family boat, like so many of us, was a Chris-Craft! While in college at the University of Texas, Gavan worked with his friend Darrell Wilson who is the owner of the Slalom Shop, a very successful Top 100 marine dealership in the Dallas, Texas area. Gavan most recently has been at Cobalt Boats, where he has held multiple positions with the company through a total of 17 years including Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Director of Dealer Development, and Regional Sales Manager. In addition to Cobalt, he held similar roles at both Chaparral Boats and Nautic Global Group. Gavan will be responsible for all domestic and international sales at Chris-Craft, working closely with our talented sales team and our global dealer network to continue to grow and nurture our business. Gavan will be present at the 2017 Chris-Craft Dealer Meeting July 17-19, 2016 as well as the upcoming fall shows.

“I look forward to joining the team at Chris-Craft. My wife, Kelley, and I are excited about the move to Chris-Craft headquarters in Sarasota, as we believe it’s a perfect time both personally and professionally to come aboard. The product offering, the dealer network, and the iconic brand are positioned perfectly for growth. I am very thankful to Mr. Heese and Mr. Julius for providing my family and I this exciting opportunity,” said Gavan Hunt.

We are truly excited to have Gavan join the Chris-Craft team. His passion for our industry, dealer relationships, and sales effectiveness will help Chris-Craft and its dealer partners continue to grow and prosper.
