NEW MEMBERSHIP ALLIANCE BETWEEN AMI AND PCC
June 26, 2017
The Association of Marina Industries (AMI) welcomes the Pacific Coast Congress of Harbormasters & Port Managers (PCC) as its newest membership partner. Now all PCC marina and harbor facilities members will automatically become AMI members as a part of their PCC membership. This means PCC members will now have access to all AMI services, products and benefits in addition to those they already receive from PCC.
“We are especially excited to have another affiliate partner from the West Coast. This allows us the chance to engage more harbormasters, harbor facilities, and marina managers from the area and helps us create specific training opportunities for our west coast audience,” said Brad Gross, AMI Chairman.
The Pacific Coast Congress of Harbormasters & Port Manager (PCC) is an organization of commercial and recreational marina professionals promoting the development and growth of our industry and membership through communication, education and professional certification.
This alliance will help both associations to extend the reach of their voices reach and services to members. Through the new relationship with PCC, AMI will also increase the number of its affiliate relationships with state marine trade groups, which already includes the Tennessee Marina Association, the Midwest Marina Association, the Virginia Marine Trades Association, Boating British Columbia and the Marina Association of Texas. Alliance relationships allow for an entire a marine trade association’s membership to join at a deep discount to regular member prices. Members of the new alliance will benefit from access to national networking, learning events, discounts on training, scholarship funding for education and access to the latest industry news.
