KELLY KRANING PROMOTED TO DIRECTOR OF SALES OF MARQUIS-LARSON BOAT GROUP

Today, Marquis-Larson Boat Group makers of Larson, Larson FX, Larson Escape, Striper, Carver Yachts, Marquis and builder of the recently announced Lexus LY650 announced that (Mr.) Kelly Kraning has been promoted to Director of Sales for the company.

Previously, Kelly was the National Sales Manager for Carver and Marquis Yachts. In his new role, Kelly will continue to be responsible for the sales of Carver Yachts and Marquis when it returns to the market in the fall of 2019. “Not only has Kelly been key to the growth and success of Carver, but he has been a tremendous asset behind the scenes, supporting the internal requirements and operations for the Larson Boat Group brands,” said Rob Parmentier, President & CEO Marquis-Larson Boat Group. Parmentier added, “Kelly’s internal operations understanding, knowledge of the market and organizational skills are what we need in this role and he will do great as the Director of Sales.” The company’s five sales representatives will work directly with Kelly.

Kelly has been with the company for more than 25 years, starting in manufacturing, working on the line assembling boats while attending school to be a welder.  Over time, Kelly advanced to various other manufacturing supervisory positions before joining customer service where he worked directly with the sales department and the boat owners, to manage the special request / build process for new construction builds for the company.  “I’m excited about my new role and responsibilities.  I’m also extremely honored be considered for this job, and to have been recognized for my skills and accomplishments to date. Thank you,” said Kraning.
