NMMA recently ramped up efforts to promote NMMA Certification to boaters and potential boaters, helping NMMA Certified members stand out among the competition. As part of this effort, NMMA launched new marketing efforts and revamped existing ones to get the message out to even more consumers about the value and benefits of NMMA Certification.

This includes:
• NMMA Boat & Sport Shows: NMMA boat shows heavily promote NMMA Certified boats and trailers, and do so via a number of channels including: special signage onsite at shows, articles and full listings of NMMA Certified manufacturers in show guides, and promotion on show websites, social media and within consumer newsletters and email marketing.
• Discover Boating: The Discover Boating campaign promotes the benefits of NMMA Certification to boat shoppers. DiscoverBoating.com includes a full listing of NMMA Certified manufacturers, highlights NMMA Certification across its social media channels, and in outreach among mainstream national media.
• Advertising: NMMA Certification is the focus of advertising efforts in NMMA’s boat and sport show directories and social media accounts, as well as Discover Boating’s social media accounts.
• BoatTest.com Partnership: A new partnership with BoatTest.com that brings special attention to NMMA Certified boats.
NMMA is encouraging member manufacturers to amplify the value of their NMMA Certification to boaters and potential boat buyers and is providing a new marketing toolkit on NMMA.org to make it easy.
