SIGN UP FOR THE CSBC 2019 SYMPOSIUM “SHARED WATERWAYS”

Symposium Social

July 23, 2019

Members of Canada’s boating industry from across Canada will be interested in attending the Canadian Safe Boating Council’s annual symposium because it will focus on an emerging and critically important topic; the responsible sharing of Canadian waterways.

With the explosive growth in recreational boating, fuelled in part with smaller, more affordable vessels, hundreds of thousands of new boaters are taking to Canadian waters each year. With this increased traffic, it is important that boating regulators, harbour managers, waterfront developers, boating organizations, marine enforcement and boating safety stakeholders take a proactive approach to developing educational strategies to ensure all boaters understand their responsibilities to share Canada’s waterways.

Symposium SocialIn September managers of busy waterways, boating associations and government officials from across Canada and internationally will come together to share their challenges, experiences and solutions in managing this growing issue. Topping up the agenda, attendees will learn about current boating trends, see demonstrations of Canada’s Search and Rescue personnel in action, and be at the best place in 2019 to connect with boating safety leaders from government, industry and key boating safety organizations.

Previous CSBC Symposiums have demonstrated exceptional value for attendees:

“Networking was excellent.”

“An exceptional Symposium, great content.”

“The whole agenda was excellent and very informative”

“Packed with useful and inspiring information on the world of boating safety”

This CSBC Shared Waterways Symposium is a must attend for 2019, and rooms are expected to sell out quickly. Reservations must be made directly with the host hotel before August 15th. Deadline for Symposium Registration is Sept. 7, 2019

The 2024 Marine Electronics Conference & Expo was a great event!

NMEA

The 2024 Marine Electronics Conference & Expo, held by the National Marine Electronics Association, (NMEA) took place September 16 to the 20th in Providence, Rhode Island. Boating Industry Canada was there for the first time and we were very impressed with what we found.

The association is very well supported and virtually any significant marine electronics company that you could name, was represented there on the Exhibitor list at the Expo as well as all being NMEA members and very supportive of the organization.
