AQUILA EXPANDS FACTORY AND INVESTS IN TECHNOLOGY

Aquila Expands

Feb 11, 2020

The global leader in power catamarans, Aquila, recently announced a significant factory expansion and plans to debut new models in 2020. The team prepares to speak about these developments at the upcoming Miami International Boat Show, taking place from February 13 to 17, 2020.

“Evolution comes from pushing the boundaries, testing possibilities, and committing to a vision beyond the current status quo,” states Lex Raas, Head of Aquila Product Development. “Aquila has a legacy of achieving these results with every new product they have brought to the boating community.”

Leveraging its long history of quality and innovation in power catamarans, Aquila’s “exclusively power” design and engineering have consistently delivered a unique combination of speed, space, innovation, and styling. All of these elements are present in the ever-popular Aquila 32, 36, and 44, and all planned to be on display at the Miami International Boat Show. In addition to the lineup, the Aquila team is prepared to showcase the big things to come in 2020: a major factory expansion, the debut of the Aquila 54 and the Aquila 70, and launch of the cruiser version of the Aquila 36. Stop by the display to discover innovations like wave-piercing bulbous bows, submersible swim steps, bridge-to-bow direct access, and more.

“The predominant factor to success with expanding the model lineup is the Aquila factory expansion, including new technology, a 3D Axis machine, and test facility,” continues Raas. “Come meet the Aquila team to learn about all the exciting new developments and innovations.”

The Miami International Boat Show is known as the “Five Biggest Days in Boating” and is one of the largest boat shows in the United States. This year, the show is held from February 13 to 17, 10 am to 6 pm, at the Miami Marine Stadium Park and Basin on Virginia Key.
