BOATING ONTARIO MOVES TO RESCHEDULE REGIONAL MEETINGS AND SPRING TRAINING

Boating Ontario has announced that due to the current climate and the key measures that need to be taken in preventing the continuing spread of COVID-19 as being avoidance of large crowds and practising ‘Social Distancing’ they are making the difficult decision to cancel both their Regional Meetings and Spring Training events.

Regionals

They are reviewing the possibility of hosting a webinar / conference call and will reach back to registered members from each venue on that option within the next week. Information is posted here and you will need your password to access.

Spring Training

ALL those who registered and paid will get a full refund. Over the coming weeks, Boating Ontario will get refund cheques out to everyone that paid for this training. Please be patient but rest assured that your refund is coming. Sam Dantzler & Jordon Schoolmeester were both disappointed and respectful of the decision – both men have families like many of us do and neither of them wanted to be any part of cancelling, nor of spreading this virus. Their firm, Garage Composites, have several podcasts available online; show the team some love and give them a follow!

We did reiterate to Sam that Boating Ontario members ABSOLUTELY wanted this training and that the Association is 110% committed to revisiting this as a Spring Training 2021 program.
