HANSEYACHTS AG SECURES PRODUCTION AND JOBS

Hanse Yachts

Mar 31, 2020

On March 19, 2020 HanseYachts announced that while the coronavirus crisis defines the international headlines and reduces public activity to a minimum, HanseYachts AG was able to secure their production sites on time and therefore ensure the ongoing yacht production as well as its employees’ health.

An extensive package of measures has been developed in order to keep the production lines running and thus meet the needs of our corporate social responsibility in this time of crisis.
Alongside strict hygienic regulations being implemented, the different workspaces have been rigorously separated and numerous home offices established. External visitors as well as our own Sales team are prohibited from entering the production sites in order to keep our boat builders safe. Additionally, all national and international business travel and events have been cancelled.

Due to these measures having come into effect early on, all our conveyors are constantly running on a high production level. All brand of HanseYachts AG are continuously able to deliver and orders should be delivered on time. In order to ensure this, the warehouse capacities for foreign-built production parts are constantly being monitored and further extended.

Dr Jens Gerhardt, CEO of HanseYachts AG: „We are still receiving enquiries and orders for new yachts for the upcoming summer months. Our clients know that during these times a boat is the perfect place to spend a safe and carefree holiday in isolation with their families. What better way is there to spend a holiday than out at sea for a little get-away?”
