Premium Life-Calk now offered in gray

Life-Calk in Gray

Nov 2, 2021

Increasingly, modern boat hulls are offered in gray—the same color traditionally used for non-glare decks. When it’s time to install a fitting or rebed a port, white and black caulk just doesn’t look right. That’s why premium Life-Calk® from BoatLIFE now comes in gray. It has all the same benefits the sealant line is known for but designed to match surrounding surfaces perfectly.

Made in the USA, Life-Calk is a long-lasting, permanently flexible polysulfide. Formulated for use above or below the waterline, it bonds to fiberglass, metal, glass, wood and itself. It won’t harden, shrink, crack or dry out, and is impervious to teak oil, gasoline and diesel fuel. The caulk is so reliable, it’s routinely used by top cruise lines for deck maintenance.

Easy to finger tool, Life-Calk can be painted and sanded. It can be applied to damp surfaces or used underwater for emergency repairs. With superior strength and tenacity, it’s perfect for bedding teak decks, hardware, ports, hatches and thru-hull fittings, as well as creating seams below the waterline.

Gray Life-Calk has an MSRP of $10.26 USD for a 1 fl. oz. tube; 10.6 fl. oz. cartridge, $33.36 USD; and a 20 fl. oz. chubb, $58.50 USD. BoatLIFE Life-Calk also comes in white, black, mahogany, teak brown and custom colors in quantity.
