Lippert names Matthew Johnston Managing Director of Lippert Marine Group Europe

Lippert Components, Inc. (Lippert™), a supplier of a broad array of highly engineered components for the leading original equipment manufacturers (“OEMs”) in the recreation and transportation product markets, and the related aftermarkets of those industries, announces today that Matthew Johnston has been named Managing Director for Lippert Marine Group Europe. In this role, he will manage three Marine Group brands – Lewmar®, Trend®, and Taylor Made® Ireland, which includes two sites in the UK and one site in Ireland.

Johnston has more than 20 years of experience in the industry and has held several positions within Lewmar including Custom and OEM Sales Manager, Sales and Marketing Director, and most recently, Group Commercial Director for Lippert’s Marine Group. Since July 2019, he has acted as a Marine Group representative on the wider Lippert Corporate EU leadership board, further developing a skillset that provides a unique mix of commercial experience and having a proven record of operating within a lean management buy-out environment.

In his new role, Johnston will be responsible for growing the Marine Group footprint in Europe through innovative product development, creating new products, and supporting acquisitions. He is also looking forward to guiding the teams on their cultural journey as they grow and create a stronger, more agile group.
