Welcome Jane Matsushita and Liz Nienaber!

Jane and Liz

May 29, 2023

Our Industry is filled with a world of wonderfully unique individuals! At Quadrant Marine we’re lucky enough to meet most these people at different stages of their career. And our newest team members, Jane Matsushita & Liz Nienaber are no exception!

We first got to work with Jane as a Manager at Miltown Marine, and now we’re happy to say she’s joining our team as the Vancouver Program Manager & Workplace Support. Jane’s years of experience in the industry, both professionally, and as a lifetime sailor will be a valuable addition to our Lower Mainland team!

On the other side of the Georgia Strait, Liz Nienaber will be taking on the role of Training Coordinator & Community Partnership Facilitator! With a successful career in Sailmaking and Rigging, she will be combining her decades of experience in industry with her knowledge of the MST program to bring our work at Quadrant to new heights!

Marine Service Excellence month would not happen without the hardworking Trainers, Technicians, and Managers, working to make this industry the best it can be. Last week, on social media we highlighted some of our new instructors, and on Tuesday we celebrated one of our graduates who’s now a lead MST at his company. This appreciation is a fraction of how grateful we are to the whole community of Marine Service Technicians who’ve trained with, and for us.

With Quadrant taking on training for; Pre-Employment, MST’s, Effective Mentorship, Inclusive Workplaces, and Marine Service Managers, it really couldn’t be a better time for Liz and Jane to join our ranks… We’re excited to work with you both and we cannot wait for all our apprentices to meet you in the Fall. Welcome Jane and Liz!

The association is very well supported and virtually any significant marine electronics company that you could name, was represented there on the Exhibitor list at the Expo as well as all being NMEA members and very supportive of the organization.
