VoltSafe launches Marina Pilot Program

VoltSafe

June 19, 2023

Traditional marine electrical power pedestals are problematic with recessed contacts that make it impossible to detect corrosion, a major cause of marina and boat fires. Shore power pedestals are antiquated and require maintenance and labour to manually monitor and manage electricity usage which is inefficient and costly. VoltSafe Marine electrical shore power connectors will set a new standard in marine EV charging and shore power safety, with proprietary smart features like current leakage detection, power-metering, level-2 EV charging, and automated utility billing. This level of unprecedented safety ensures both marina operators and boaters alike have confidence knowing there are safety levels near that of the aerospace sector while optimizing operational efficiency. Once installed, the marina manager will be able to monitor and manage power consumption for each marina slip using VoltSafe’s desktop dashboard in real time. The demand for safer infrastructure exists across the industry, and it’s time to change the status quo.

VoltsafeVoltSafe is currently partnering with marinas across North America to conduct a large-scale beta pilot program of VoltSafe Marine. This exclusive opportunity will allow participating marinas to test this innovative product by setting up a smart control box and pedestal-side connector (easily retrofits onto existing pedestals). Once installed, the marina manager will be able to monitor and manage power consumption for each marina slip using VoltSafe’s desktop dashboard in real time. There are limited spots available to be part of this ground-breaking beta pilot program. A deposit for beta units is required, which is fully refundable following completion of the beta program, or can be applied against a purchase order for new units at a significant discount. By participating, your marina will benefit from innovative shore power improvements and gain first-access to new commercial units when they are released to market. CMRA

As of July 1st, 2024 the embargo is lifted on the photos and information about Four Winns’ new H9 model and it is stunning!

About a month ago, I traveled to Charlevoix, MI for a special press event to introduce the H9 to a small group of journalists. This is a 29-foot 11-inch luxury day boat with a 9- foot 2-inch beam and it features a fabulous expansive flat floor all the way from the bow rider area to the transom and the swim platform.
