CE-Certified power connectors ensure global use

Hubbell Inlets

Oct 31, 2023

Increasingly sophisticated electronics on board modern cruising yachts demand a stable, reliable power supply no matter where the vessel travels in the world. Internationally rated, CE-certified shore power connections from Hubbell Marine are offered in both pin-and-sleeve and twist-lock configurations, enabling boatbuilders to provide their customers with an assurance of dockside compatibility anywhere on the globe.

Dual-rated to match both international and North American standards, Hubbell Marine pin-and-sleeve connectors in 16A/20A, 32A/30A and 63A/60A configurations at 220-240V/250V are fully interchangeable with other brands of UL1686 C1 devices for maximum compatibility. All feature robust inlets, connectors, receptacles and plugs for long service life, and are waterproof to IP66 standard to deliver years of reliable service in even the harshest marine environments.

Twist-lock connectors in 16A/230V, 50A 125/250V, 63A/230V and 32A/230V 50-cycle configurations deliver universal shore power compatibility in a familiar connector body. Tough nickel-plated brass contact blades and heat-resistant thermoset contact carriers resist corrosion, arcing and heat to deliver superior performance in a variety of climate conditions.

Inlets are available in two versions. The stainless steel IP56-rated model has a gasketed, self-closing threaded cover for a watertight seal. IP55-rated non-metallic inlets have a white, UV-resistant finish for applications where a more discreet appearance is desirable.

Complementing its full line of internationally rated connectors, Hubbell Marine also offers an extensive range of cord sets, boots, weatherproof plates and covers as part of its complete solution for boat builders serving customers in global markets.
