2024 ACBS-Toronto Vintage Boat Show Cancelled

ACBS Toronto

Mar 5, 2024

The Antique & Classic Boat Society – Toronto has announced the cancellation of their traditional Antique Boat Show held in Gravenhurst every July. Mike Gridley, Show Chair announced to ACBS-Toronto members that due to circumstances beyond our control, the Board of Directors have decided to cancel the ACBS-Toronto Vintage Boat Show for 2024.

The Town of Gravenhurst and the District of Muskoka will be starting a major three-year construction project that will significantly impact Bay St, / Muskoka Road 169 and access to Muskoka Wharf this summer. The impact is such that the Farmers Market and all other events that normally take place at Muskoka Wharf and the adjacent park lands have cancelled or relocated for 2024.

Unfortunately, we are unable to relocate our event, so we have made the difficult decision to cancel this summer’s show. The board determined that if we could not put on a first-class show for you, our members, participants, our sponsors and the public it is in our best interest to cancel.

Over the next weeks and months, we will be working on plans to offer alternative activities for our members on the water and land to take place on the original show weekend in July. We will have more information on these plans in the future.

Rest assured that we will be back to Muskoka Wharf with Canada’s largest vintage and classic boat show in 2025.
