PORT CREDIT IN-WATER BOAT SHOW ANNOUNCES NEW SHOW MANAGER

PC In Water Boatshow

Katrina Lewis, well known and highly respected in the boating community, has been appointed show manager of the Port Credit In-Water Boat Show. She takes the helm immediately.

Lewis has a broad range of boating experience including marina and yacht management, marketing, advertising and instruction. Port Credit Boat Show attendees will remember Lewis for her informative seminars on cruising in the Caribbean with her company Openwaters.

“I’m absolutely delighted that Katrina has accepted the position” says show general manager, Lori Mason. “Not only does she have a wealth of sales and management experience but she’s well known in boating. I know that she will bring a new energy to our 24th show!”

The Port Credit In-Water Boat Show will be held later than usual this year, September 12 to 14th. In the past the show was held during the last weekend of August. The shift to September was made following discussions with show exhibitors and attendees.

“The smaller boat dealers couldn’t leave their business for the last weekend of the summer,” Mason says. “Moving the show dates is a win-win for everyone. Our attendees won’t be distracted from a great buying weekend. At the same time, our exhibitors will have the opportunity to clear out any dated inventory in line for the new Fall boat lines.”

Every year, the Port Credit In-Water Boat Show presents a first rate event featuring over 100 new and used power and sailboats, numerous land displays of marine accessories and services and several great features. Included is the Speaker’s Tent, the ever popular consignment tent and great entertainment from some of Port Credit finest musicians.

“Every show is different. We bring back the popular events but each year we add something new. That’s what keeps our show so popular.” stated Lori Mason, show manager.

The 24th show is looking to be another great boat show with lots of boats, great exhibitors, great, new features… in fact it’s an entire weekend of finding out why life is better with a boat.

The association is very well supported and virtually any significant marine electronics company that you could name, was represented there on the Exhibitor list at the Expo as well as all being NMEA members and very supportive of the organization.
