IMBC POSTS CALL FOR PRESENTERS

IMBC

The International Marina & Boatyard Conference (IMBC) has posted a "Call for Presenters" at its website, MarinaAssociation.org/IMBC. The conference, produced by the Association of Marina Industries (AMI), is scheduled for January 28-30, 2015, at the Tampa Convention Center in Tampa, FL.

Presentations should be designed for intermediate to advanced levels of experience without overt company or product promotions.

IMBC breakout seminars will be organized by coastal, inland, boatyard, and marina design & engineering tracks. Within those tracks, topics will include marina operations, emergency response tactics, construction, legal considerations for marinas on federally leased lands, boatyard operations, marketing, management, revenue generation, expense management, customer service, environmental issues, human resources, and marina law. Plenary sessions will focus on business topics, which appeal to the entire IMBC audience.
"We reach out to the industry every year to ensure IMBC's topics are both timely and relevant," AMI Chair Jeff Rose, CMM, says. "With such a diverse audience of marina owners, operators, engineers, and industry consultants, we have to work hard to appeal to everyone."
The deadline for submitting presentations is April 28, 2014. For more guidelines and more information, please visit www.marinaassociation.org/imbc/education/seminars.
