Not everyone can make it to the September NMEA Conference in San Diego but there are Canadian training opportunities available in Halifax, on  August 28/29/30! The location will be the Future Inns Halifax Hotel and Conference Centre in Halifax. You can  still join the upcoming Halifax

Educational Training Sessions:

NEW Basic Marine Electronics Installer, Wednesday, August 28th

NMEA 2000 Training, Thursday, August 29th

Advanced Marine Electronics Installer, Friday, August 30th

The courses run from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. with an exam given at the end of the session.

Pre-registration is required.  Please visit the NMEA website at www.nmea.org to register. Course materials are sent out in advance, please sign up early.

About a month ago, I traveled to Charlevoix, MI for a special press event to introduce the H9 to a small group of journalists.
