Event Invites Innovative Vendors to Pitch New Products to West Marine.  West Marine (Nasdaq:WMAR), the country’s largest retailer of boating supplies and accessories, today announced its New Product Review Day on Friday, March 8, 2013.  The event will be held at the Company’s Watsonville, California based Support Center located at 500 Westridge Drive.

West Marine’s New Product Review Day allows prospective inventors and vendors to pitch new products to West Marine Category Managers for consideration and the chance to be sold in West Marine retail stores, and through its other channels of business includingwestmarine.com.  “West Marine is eager to meet innovators of new boating, fishing and sailing gear,” said Ron Japinga, EVP Merchandising for West Marine. “Our New Product Review Day presents a unique opportunity for vendors and inventors to meet personally with West Marine.
