Bluenose II Documentary Airs December 4 on CBC

All Canadian boating and sailing enthusiasts will want to see the new documentary titled 'Nova Scotia Schooners' which will have its national TV broadcast debut on Sunday December 4th on CBC TV's Land & Sea.

The film was shot during the summer of 2011 and features scenes from the rebuilding of Bluenose II and the 50th anniversary Nova Scotia Schooner Association race week. This half hour documentary portrays the wooden boat building skills that helped establish Canada as a sea going nation and reveals the individuals and coastal communities that are helping to keep these traditions alive today.
