Mustang Survival Promotes Latest PFD Innovations at the Vancouver International Boat Show

Mustang Survival showed the Catalyst Flotation Jacket for the first time on the Canadian West Coast at the 2012 Vancouver International Boat Show. The company also promoted PFD (personal flotation devices) awareness during the five day event with show greeters wearing lightweight inflatable PFDs at the newly renovated BC Place and by providing show attendees with PFDs while they took part in on-water seminars at the Granville Island Maritime Market and Marina.

The Catalyst flotation jacket is the market’s only waterproof and breathable flotation jacket, designed with Mustang Survival’s exclusive M-Tech Comfort System™. The new jacket was inspired by the company’s original Floater Coat™ and revolutionizes current flotation apparel by using an innovative three-layer design that includes an inner wicking liner, a segmented foam construction that greatly improves mobility and breathability, and a waterproof breathable tri-laminate outer shell that protects from rain and spray.

“The Catalyst flotation jacket will be a fun new alternative for boaters when deciding what approved PFD to wear,” said Brian Milligen, Director of Sales at Mustang Survival, “Especially on the West Coast, staying warm is key. With the segmented foam design and breathable construction, our Catalyst takes flotation jackets to a whole new level of comfort and usability.”

“We’re also excited to partner with the Vancouver International Boat Show on promoting PFD wear. With inflatable PFDs now available in lightweight and comfortable designs at affordable prices, it’s easier than ever for boaters and water enthusiasts to keep themselves and their friends and family safe while having fun on or near the water.”

The Catalyst is approved as a personal flotation device in North America and provides boaters and sailors with another comfortable alternative when choosing a PFD. Watch how the M-Tech Comfort System™ works at www.vimeo.com/mustangsurvival/catalyst<http://www.vimeo.com/mustangsurvival/catalyst>
