2013 NMMA CANADA HALL OF FAME – CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2013 National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) Canada Hall of Fame. Recipients of the NMMA Canada Hall of Fame include those who have, or those who continue to generate substantial and lasting contributions toward the advancement of the marine industry.

The Hall of Fame honours individuals whose achievements are synonymous with the pursuit of quality, innovation and perfection within their respective spheres of expertise. The due date for nominations is October 1, 2013. The recipient of the award will be announced in January at the Toronto International Boat Show.

“The NMMA Canada Hall of Fame is the Association’s highest honour and a way to recognize the significant contribution from one of our industry leaders,” said Sara Anghel, Executive Director of NMMA Canada. “NMMA Canada encourages its members to nominate an individual for this prestigious award.”

The nomination form includes listing specific reasons why the candidate should be considered such as any supporting materials or endorsement detail. The 2024 Marine Electronics Conference & Expo, held by the National Marine Electronics Association, (NMEA) took place September 16 to the 20th in Providence, Rhode Island. Boating Industry Canada was there for the first time and we were very impressed with what we found.

The association is very well supported and virtually any significant marine electronics company that you could name, was represented there on the Exhibitor list at the Expo as well as all being NMEA members and very supportive of the organization.
