ALBERTA BOAT AND SPORTSMEN’S SHOWS ANNOUNCES NEW DIGITAL MARKETPLACE

Alberta Sportmens Marketplace

Mar 9, 2021

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has forced many businesses to pivot and offer their services in unique and alternative ways. The 2021 edition of the Alberta Boat and Sportsmen’s Shows – which have been postponed to 2022 – have moved to an online platform, designed to connect regular event attendees with the show’s exhibitors in a new way.

The Alberta Sportsmen’s Show Digital Marketplace is now available as part of the show’s websites. Those who would have attended the shows in-person can search the platform by company name, or filter by category. Exhibitor listings include detailed company information, photos, videos, product highlights, and any special offers or promotions they choose to feature. Seminars will also be released throughout the month. Users can easily connect by clicking email, website, and social media buttons.

“The decision to postpone to 2022 was not made hastily, but out of necessity,” said Show Manager Les Trendall. “It’s important to us to help maintain a strong connection among show participants and annual Alberta Boat and Sportsmen’s Shows visitors. We know both our exhibitors and attendees rely on face-to-face events to network and advance business opportunities and we hope that our new Digital Marketplace will facilitate that during this unpredictable time.”

The Digital Marketplace will be available for a limited time– from Monday, March 1st through Wednesday, March 31st. This represents a significantly expanded timeframe from the typical four-day events, and lets users take their time to easily browse through the exhibitor database from the safety of their own home. The platform features a variety of exhibitor categories including Fishing, Hunting, Electronics, Lodges & Resorts, Outfitters & Guides, and many more.

Would-be show visitors are also encouraged to visit the Alberta Boat and Sportsmen’s Shows website to sign-up for email updates with the most current information as well as an opportunity to win over $12,000 in prizes and other giveaways.
