Aquila Power Catamarans announces appointment of Alain Raas as Global Brand Director

On October 23, 2024, Aquila Power Catamarans announced the appointment of Alain Raas as its Global Brand Director to build on Aquila’s position as a leader in the power catamaran industry.
 
Alain is a lifelong boater in both the power and sail categories. In addition to competing in various parts of the world, he has a successful trans-Pacific crossing under his belt, further equipping him with a deep understanding of boating and the industry. Alain collaborates closely with the marketing and sales teams to ensure project objectives are in line with Aquila brand objectives and standards while also providing essential support and guidance to our Aquila dealers around the globe.
 
Previously, Alain served as the Brand Manager for Aquila at MarineMax. Alain’s unique blend of boating experience and strategic insights will help propel Aquila’s continued global expansion and successfully launch numerous new models in 2025 and beyond.
 
“My passion lies in taking beautifully crafted products from the design and ideation stage all the way through to launch,” says Raas. “Aquila has an expansive vision for its product portfolio over the next several years, and I am thrilled to be a part of bringing that vision to life.” 
 
Founded in 2012 by Sino Eagle Holding Group, the Aquila Power Catamarans brand is now recognized internationally as a leader in power catamarans. 
 
“With the experience, Alain has gained over the years working with the MarineMax sales and marketing teams and being a key player in the growth of our brand here in the USA, we are excited to have him join our Aquila USA team based out of Clearwater,” stated Jean Raas, CEO Aquila USA / Product Development. “Alain will lead the strategic development of our core competencies to align with company objectives in delivery, quality, and engagement.
