ASA ELECTRONICS AND POLK AUDIO HELP SPONSOR 54TH MASTERS WATER SKI AND WAKEBOARD TOURNAMENT

Masters Waterski and Wakeboard

ASA Electronics, an international manufacturer and supplier of premium audio and video electronics and appliances has partnered with Polk Audio to help sponsor the 54th Masters Water Ski and Wakeboard Tournament.  ASA and Polk Audio are proud to support the longest-running water skiing competition in the world that attracts thousands of participants and spectators each year.

The Master’s Tournament was started in 1959 with the Ida Callaway Invitational that attracted an astonishing 13,000 spectators in its first year. The competition originally focused on only three events with athletes participating in the slalom, tricks and jump, and the overall title awards. As times changed, Wakeskating was added along with Ski Fly and athletes started to compete for the championship of their individual disciplines instead of an overall title. This elite, invitation-only tournament has evolved over the decades to include various other aspects such as the Junior Masters Tournament, making it the most prestigious water sporting event in the world.

This year’s event will be held May 24th to 26th at the beautiful Callaway’s Robin Lake in Georgia. ASA and Polk Audio are pleased to be a part of this impressive and industry admired competition.
