If there’s one description that sums up 2018 for Beneteau, it is “Beneteau’s excellence and innovation recognized worldwide”. SAIL Magazine has revealed the names of the 2019 Best Boat Awards: the Figaro Beneteau 3 won in the Performance boat category over 31 ft. and the First 14 won in Daysailer!

SAIL Magazine 2019 Best Boat Awards reward the boatbuilding industry’s latest crop of new innovations; SAIL’s judges had to choose among almost 30 competitors as part of this year’s “Best Boats” contest.

“We are so honored with these awards. Figaro Beneteau 3 launched with a very strong career, winning the Pacific Cup as her first race from San Francisco to Hawaii.

The First 14 is a new addition to our offer. First is an iconic range for Beneteau, born 40 years ago! Forty years later the DNA of the First range remains the same: fun, fast and affordable”, said Jean-Francois Lair, Director of Sales at Beneteau America.

Beneteau aims to develop products geared towards performance, comfort and ease. The Figaro Beneteau 3 combines outstanding handling under sail with an innovative inverted foiling system. The First 14 defines “the pure joy of sailing”. A simple, robust sailing boat with emphasis on design and ergonomics, this dinghy is an ideal introduction to sailing.
