BENTLEY HODGE BECOMES BASE MANAGER FOR MARINEMAX VACATIONS TORTOLA, BVI

MarineMax Vacations is pleased to announce that Bentley Hodge has been promoted to the role of Base Manager at the company’s charter base in Tortola, British Virgin Islands.

“We are excited to have Bentley move into this role and manage our base operations in the British Virgin Islands” said Raul Bermudez, Vice President of MarineMax Vacations. “Bentley’s extensive industry experience and his drive for excellence in customer service have paved the way for this well-deserved promotion.  Most recently, Bentley served as our Customer Service Manager and has been an asset to the base operations and the entire MarineMax Vacations team.” Lex Raas, President of MarineMax Vacations also commented, “Bentley truly lives the MarineMax culture of giving each of our customers the one on one attention they deserve. Bentley will be instrumental in continuing to position MarineMax Vacations as the premier power boat charter operator in the British Virgin Islands.”

Hodge, a Tortola native, started his career in the marine industry 17 years ago and over the course of his career has worked closely with suppliers and manufacturers like Beneteau, Jeanneau, Robertson and Caine and Raymarine. He has also held various charter industry management positions with The Moorings and Footloose Sailing Charters including Supply Manager, Service Call Manager, Courtesy Manager and Base Manager. Most recently before joining MarineMax Vacations, Bentley was the Customer Service Manager at Horizon Yacht Charters where he implemented new base procedures company wide.

In Bentley's spare time, he enjoys cooking, photography and drawing. He and his wife Delana have two children, one is an alumnus of UT Austin, and the youngest is attending the University of North Texas.

Peacock has been a member of Kitimat Marine Search and Rescue and RCMSAR Unit 63 for 31 years, making him one of the longest-serving members in the province.
