The report indicated with even greater certainty that observed climate change is caused by human activities and regardless of the success of international efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, further global warming and changes in extreme weather are inevitable in the 21st century.  What are the climate changes expected to occur in Ontario and what could these changes mean for Ontario tourism?  This presentation will examine the risks and opportunities for tourism, the boating industry, and your business.

Duncan Peacock, resident of Kitimat BC and member of Kitimat Marine Search and Rescue and RCMSAR Unit 63, has been awarded the 12th annual Tim Jones Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Outdoor Community in British Columbia.

Peacock has been a member of Kitimat Marine Search and Rescue and RCMSAR Unit 63 for 31 years, making him one of the longest-serving members in the province.
