Catalina Yachts has announced that Specialty Yacht Sales in Vancouver, British Columbia, has been named Western Canada’s Exclusive Dealer for its award-winning sail and powerboat lines.

The two companies represent more than a century of marine expertise that strengthens the quality options and services available to western Canadian boaters. “We are excited to be partnering with a company that has helped shape the recreational marine industry in Western Canada. Specialty Yacht Sales is recognized for its sail and power expertise and exceptional customer service,” said Sharon Day, President of Catalina Yachts. “The partnership with Specialty Yachts is a natural fit for Catalina Yachts and for our customers in that region.”

Lawrence Fronczek, principal owner of Specialty Yacht Sales, is a big believer in raising the bar when it comes to industry standards. “We cherish our boaters and are absolutely thrilled to now be able to represent the full line of Catalina sail and powerboats,” he said. “This increases our range of new offerings, from entry level Sport boats to the Ocean passsagemakers, along with their True North power line.”

A new Catalina 425 sailboat will soon be available for viewing at Specialty Yachts’ docks on Granville Island. The Catalina 425 is the mid-size cruising yacht of the Ocean Class group, which also includes Catalina 385, and the Flagship 545, Cruising World’s Boat of the Year in 2020, as well as Sail magazine’s Best Boats winner. The power line includes the True North 38, True North 34 and the True North 34 Outboard Express.

Specialty YachtsSpecialty Yacht Sales has been serving the needs of boaters on the West Coast and throughout Western Canada and Washington state since 1964. It is located in the heart of the maritime community on Granville Island.

Catalina is now in its 51st year of building the largest selection of honest, sturdy boats that hold up to real-world conditions. True North owners will benefit from a half century of expertise, engineering and distinguished reputation, not only for building boats but also for developing enduring relationships with its owners, based on product quality and customer service. For Catalina and True North owners, this means extra value and an enhanced boating experience, with the added bonus of excellent resale value. For more information visit CatalinaYachts.com.
