Leaders of major marine electronics companies to discuss the industry’s future

As part of the NMEA International Marine Electronics Conference & Expo this fall, a diverse panel of chief executive officers representing marine electronics companies based in the U.S. and abroad will discuss key issues and challenges facing the industry at the Baltimore Sheraton Inner Harbor Hotel on Sept. 29 from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m.

The CEO Panel includes Andrew Teich, President & CEO of FLIR/Raymarine; Marc Jourlait, Deputy CEO of Navico Holding AS; and Phil Whitehurst, Managing Director of Active Research, Ltd./Actisense. NMEA Chairman Johnny Lindstrom will moderate the session. The panel will take center stage after lunch on Tuesday. Doors will open for the trade expo after the CEO session ends.

“We’re very grateful to the CEOs who are sitting on this year’s panel,” said Mark Reedenauer, NMEA President & Executive Director. “We want the NMEA members to submit questions for a perspective from the CEOs as to how these topics impact your industry.”

NMEA’s Convention Committee will develop a list of questions for the panel to address. All NMEA members are invited to submit questions for consideration to the National Office at info@nmea.org. There will also be time at the session for questions and comments from the audience.

The NMEA International Marine Electronics Conference & Expo, held Sept. 29-Oct. 1, offers a full roster of technical education and training sessions, on-water equipment demonstrations and a two-day trade exposition of new products and services. For more information on the Conference & Expo, visit www.expo.nmea.org or contact the National Office at 410-975-9425.
