CMP ANNOUNCES CORPORATE NAME CHANGE

CMP is excited to announce an important development as part of its efforts towards continuous growth and expansion of its’ global brands. On October 10, 2018, Canada Metal (Pacific) Limited and Dock Edge + Inc. was amalgamated under section 185 of the Canada Business Corporation Act.  The resulting company retained the Canada Metal (Pacific) Limited name.  Since then, all North American facilities continued to operate under their pre-amalgamation corporate names. 

As of April 1st, 2019, this legal corporate name will be changing from Canada Metal (Pacific) Ltd., to CMP Group Ltd.  As part of this, the Dock Edge corporate name will be included as a brand within the CMP Group Ltd. corporate entity.

This name change will give CMP the ability to better present its brands globally and to continue its reputation for innovative product and industry solutions worldwide. CMP’s commitment to its customers and partners will continue to be its highest priority.

CMP Group Ltd. is made up of many individual brands, each serving customers in different ways yet with a focus to provide consumers with innovative and value-added solutions.
