On November 28, 2022, CMP Group Ltd announces today the acquisition of the rights to manufacture and distribute the DockHinge products worldwide.

The addition of DockHinge to CMP Groups’ dock hardware and accessories program demonstrates the continued commitment to invest in innovative products and to provide our customers with unique, industry leading advantages.

DockHinge, part of the HitcHinge family, is a patented coupler system that will provide CMP customers with a safe, easy and quiet solution to connecting wood & aluminum dock sections in minutes.

“DockHinge not only compliments CMP Groups’ current dock hardware product offering, but also gives our customers a better solution to solve the constant rattling of dock sections as well as providing a safer dock connection and solution for our customers”, said Michael Szwez, CMP Vice President.

“In late 2021, we consummated a new business partnership with DockHinge to explore expanding our business footprint into broader markets. Today, we are extremely excited to be part of the new business partnership between DockHinge and the CMP Group. CMP Group, with their strong global presence in manufacturing, distribution, and marketing are the perfect fit to expand and grow our innovative product within the global marine accessories market”, said Andy Assinck, HitcHinge Owner/ Inventor.

DockHinge solves an array of issues faced by dock owners and dock builders. It is fully self-contained so there are no pins to drop, lose or misplace. It is self-supporting of heavy ramp and dock loads so it is much safer. It functions from above, removing the need to be in the water and the patented bushing system makes DockHinge virtually silent. The standard back plate is fitted with either 3/8” or ½” holes for standard hardware and mounting is quick & easy on all types of recreational or commercial applications.
