DISCONTINUATION OF CANPASS AIR AND CANPASS PRIVATE BOATS PROGRAMS

We have just learned that the Canadian Border Services Agency has discontinued the CANPASS Air and CANPASS Private Boats programs. We suspect this decision has been taken due to declines in membership and passage rates.

As of April 3, 2018, the CBSA will cease accepting new member or renewal applications, but current members will retain privileges until their membership expires. The CBSA will continue to promote the NEXUS program, which offers expedited air and marine passage, amongst many other benefits.
