DUNNVILLE MARINA OPPORTUNITY

Expressions of Interest are currently being accepted for the upgrade and operation of municipally owned marina lands in Dunnville, Ontario. The property, which has operated as a marina for the last 30 plus years, is an important business in Dunnville providing key services to boaters.

Through the Expression of Interest, Haldimand County is seeking qualified proponents to submit creative proposals for the operation and enhancement of this property. Preference will be given to proposals that augment the vitality and ambiance of the area and may include:

– Integration of the operation with adjacent parkland including public access

– Uses that support tourism and provide a focal point for visitors and park users

– Provision of or partnerships that provide transient docking facilities for visitors – Landscaping to provide an attractive property – Measures to eliminate or reduce on-site clutter

“The overall vision is to advance the County’s economic and tourism objectives by seeking proposals that better integrate this key waterfront property with the planned redevelopment of the adjacent waterfront park and farmers’ market” said LidyRomanuk, Acting Manager of Haldimand County’s Economic Development and Tourism Division.
